The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment today confirmed that the Supporters Trust is now a registered Industrial and Provident Society. This news follows several months hard work on the constitution of the proposed Trust. The constitution required detailed hard work, due to the unique circumstances surrounding Derry City FC. This was the essential first step for the Trust and it is now planned to affliate the with the umbrella body, Supporters Direct, and to push on with future initiatives.
